Sidney Olcott and his Kalem Studios shot this film on location in Egypt and in Palestine. Telling the story of Jesus' life, interspersed with Bible verses, it was the first ever five reel feature. Re-released in 1919 following Vitagraph Studios' acquisition of Kalem.
