Young Dinty must become the family's breadwinner when his mother falls ill. He works hard hocking newspapers but a gang of older boys doesn't want to share the valuable street corners, so Dinty and his pals must find a way to secure their livelihoods. And when larger troubles brew in the city these streetwise kids may be just the sort that can help!
