The final silent is Larry Semon's comedic take on the fantasy tale THE WIZARD OF OZ which stars Dorothy Dawn, Oliver Hardy, Charles Murray and Frank Alexander. Plus four selected talkies including the Weaver Brothers and Elviry in the comedy musical DOWN IN 'ARKANSAW' along with Ralph Byrd and Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams. Then its JOE PALOOKA IN HUMPHREY TAKES A CHANCE, one of the many comedy features based on the popular Joe Palooka comic strip with Leon Errol and Joe Kirkwood Jr. Next up is the late Republic crime drama FEDERAL AGENT AT LARGE starring Dorothy Patrick, Robert Rockwell and Kent Taylor. Then get ready for an exciting serial as when three brave agents face off against a cabal of spies in this fifteen chapter serial G-MEN VS. THE BLACK DRAGON, starring Rod Cameron, Roland Got, Constance Worth and Nino Pipitone. Read below for more details!

SILENT MOVIES ON DVD

OLD HEIDELBERG (1915)
This rare drama, adapted from a 1901 romantic German play stars Wallace Reid and Dorothy Gish along with Karl Formes and Erich von Stroheim. Directed by John Emerson.

THE WIZARD OF OZ (1925)
A tinted release. Larry Semon stars and directs this loved fantasy tale. Familiar slapstick gags and lots of stars:Dorothy Dwan, Charles Murray, Oliver Hardy and Frank Alexander.

HIS LUCKY DAY (1929)
Reginald Denny starts off the hilarity when he mistakes robbers for renters in this rollicking comedy directed by Edward F. Cline. With Lorayne Duval, Otis Harlan and Eddie Phillips.

DOWN IN 'ARKANSAW' (1931)
Nick Grinde directs The Weaver Brothers and Elivry along with Ralph Byrd and 'Big Boy' Williams in this comedy musical about some simple country folk resisting plans to build a new dam.

HUMPHREY TAKES A CHANCE (1950)
Leon Errol, Joe Kirkwood Jr., Robert Coogan and Lois Collier bring the characters of the famous Joe Palooka comic strip to life in this comedy romp! Jean Yarbrough directs.

FEDERAL AGENT AT LARGE (1950)
George Blair directs Dorothy Patrick, Robert Rockwell, Kent Taylor and Roy Barcroft in this crime drama where a customs agents risks everything to infiltrate a smuggling ring.

G-MEN VS. THE BLACK DRAGON (1943-SERIAL)
Its up to three agents from different Governments to stop The Black Dragon spy society and its cunning leader from sabotaging the U.S. war effort! Fifteen exciting chapters on two discs.
