Bob and Jill Lawrence, a British couple on vacation in Switzerland, with their daughter Betty befriend a foreigner, Louis Bernard, who is staying in their hotel. One evening, as Jill dances with Louis, she witnesses his assassination. Before dying, Louis confesses to being a french spy and passes on to the couple some vital information to be delivered to the British consul.
