THE ROOTIE KAZOOTIE CLUB

It’s a trip down memory lane for any fan of the Golden Age of Lost 1950’s Television to experience the Rootie Kazootie kids show in 2K imagery. These rare one of a kind programs are from the personal collection of the show’s creator Steve Carlin.

Join the family of award winning puppets created by the legendary Puppeteer Paul Ashley that included Rootie’s girlfriend Polka Dottie, his spotted canine companion Gala Poochie Pup, and their arch-villain Poison Zoomack among others.

They were joined by life-sized human characters that included host and "chief rooter" Todd ("Big Todd") Russell and policeman Mr. Deetle Dootle, played in 1950 by John Schoeopperle and thereafter by John Vee.

The show was performed live in front of a studio audience of school children who also were active participants.
